Our first mural project produced one of Indiana's largest murals in Putnam County, IN, a rural community located 45 miles West of Indianapolis. The "canvas" includes the four south-facing silos of S&W Feed Center, located at the intersection of Veterans Highway and Rt. 231 in Greencastle, IN.

This project engaged the community by hosting workshops and presentations for artists interested in learning about murals and creative placemaking projects. The mural's theme was based on community input and engaged residents across the entire county.

In July of 2019, the project raised $34,000 from community members and received a $30,000 grant from Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority's CreatINg Places grant.

In September 2019, New York-based artist Key Detail completed the mural in just under two weeks. At the conclusion of the project, we shut down the highway to host a county-wide community block party that featured live music, food & drink, games, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
